Ari and Mark made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I was looking for a place to stay during a wedding so I wouldn't have to travel back home late Saturday night. I decided to make it a weekend so came out Friday and stayed til Sunday, It was 4 minutes from the wedding venue. I liked the overall feel of the house. Comfy, very clean, well decorated. My own bathroom with a big soaker tub and plenty of room in the bathroom itself. You can lock your room and bathroom if you like- key for each. I didn't feel the need but you can. Being able to adjust the room air conditioner to my liking is a plus (2nd floor- I believe the first floor has central air). Comfortable sitting choices in my room- soft chair & love seat. I found out about a fine arts show in the Hamptons because one of the artist exhibitors was staying also so I went to the show on Sunday instead of heading right home. The pool was big and beautiful though I didn't use it- I did notice that it got some shade at times. Sometimes I notice little things- the items in the room fridge were very fairly priced- not high hotel prices. Came in handy cuz I got leg cramps when I got back from wedding and hooray- tonic water in my fridge. Mark and Ari put time and attention into making the continental breakfast memorable and different each day. I'm taking this much time to review because when owners put this much effort in- they deserve it. Ari & I also spent a lot of time just talking. I hope to return here again.

Out of all the accommodations I booked during my travels in the United States, this has been the most exceptional one. From the moment the door opened, I felt at home and really, really welcome. The landlords are amazing people, who will go out of their way to make their guest feel comfortable. I actually spent hours chatting with them instead of exploring the area, because they were just so interesting and easy to talk to. In addition to amazing conversation, I even got treated to a piano recital in the evening. So while Sayville may not be the most thrilling place you could think of, I would consider coming back just to stay at the "Come as you are Inn" again. Also, I suspect, it may be difficult to find another B&B with a great cook and a great pianist under the same roof. Breakfast was lovely, the bedroom and bathroom were great, there was not a thing to complain about in that house. I got offered lifts, I was allowed to do some laundry (mine, not theirs :)) - things that aren't for granted and which I very much appreciated. The B&B is within walking distance to the train station, if you don't have a car. It's also just a few minutes' walk to the Main Street with shops, cafés and restaurants. There's a big supermarket nearby. One could even walk to the ferry terminal to Fire Island within 20-40 minutes (depending on your pace). My stay at the "Come as you are Inn" has been an extraordinary experience and I'm very glad I stopped there.

I was greeted by the hosts Ari and Mark who were warm and welcoming.A most charming couple. They are good conversationalists and you could spend hours talking with them. They also have a great sense of humor. Its LGBTQ friendly but anyone will feel welcome here. The inn was quaint, charming and very clean. I loved my Tammy room. Bed was firm and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. I loved the breakfasts also. The Continental breakfast is free: Hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, granola and the most delicious baked goods made by Ari. If you want eggs and bacon, it's extra but fair. During the Summer, the backyard is the crown jewel of the inn. A luxurious heated pool, fire pit and another sitting area. I was here for a music festival and wish I had more time to spend by the beautiful pool. Also to explore the area. Sayville is a lovely and quaint little village with many dining options. The ferries to Fire Island are just a hop away. I would love to come back and explore that. I really look forward to my next visit!

Ari and Mark are wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They got us the Fire Island ferry schedule and even offered to drive us to the ferry terminal. The room and soaking tub were very comfortable. A delicious breakfast was provided each morning with yogurt, fresh berries and a home made bread basket with four different delicious breads. Ari offered to cook eggs and bacon too. Mark and Ari are great company and we enjoyed many conversations with them. We highly recommend their inn. We will definitely stay there again if in the area.

My sister and I really enjoyed our time here. Ari and Mark were so accommodating. They felt like family immediately. In the morning Ari baked items for breakfast (even early for us since we were on a set schedule )and Mark drove us to the airport so we could pick up our rental car. The bnb is in a good location, walking distance to Sayville's Main St, the library and the train station. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The bed and linens were really comfortable and the private bathroom had a massive tub in it.
